Tender Notice
Subject: - Awarding of work contract for repairs/polishing and maintenance
etc. of furniture of items and other carpentry work in Legislative
Department for the year 2011-2012.

Sealed quotations are invited by this Department for the
service contract (with material) for repairs/polishing and maintenance
etc. of furniture items and other carpentry work in this Department
on the terms and conditions as mentioned below.
The interested firms may submit their sealed quotations
to the Under Secretary (Admn.II), Ministry
of law and Justice (Legislative Department) Room No.411, A Wing,
Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi by
14th April 2011. The terms and conditions of the
contract will be as follows:-
(a)
The item-wise
rates may be quoted as mentioned in Annexure
.
(b)
The successful
tenderer will be required to do the
work at the approved rates for one year w.e.f 1st May
2011 during the financial year 2011-2012 and for such extended
period as may be mutually agreed upon.
(c)
The work which
is not possible to be carried out in the office premises may be
allowed to be done outside the office premises but no extra charges
would be paid for that.
(d)
The successful
tenderer will be required to furnish
a security deposit amounting to Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand
only), in cash, and deposit the same in the post office Saving
Bank account and hypothecate the pass book in the name of Under
Secretary, Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice,
Room No.411 ‘A’ Wing, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. The Security deposit shall be returnable
on successful completion of the contract.
(e)
Rates mentioned
in the quotation, if accepted, will not be allowed to be enhanced
during the currency of the contract.
(f)
No advance payment
will be made, in any case.
(g)
It will be the
responsibility of the successful tenderer
to report daily to the Section Officer, Admn.II
of this Department and collect orders for repair/maintenance of
Furniture.
(h)
The contract can be terminated at any time without
assigning any reason. In this connection, the decision of this
Department shall be final and binding upon the contractor, The
undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all quotations
without assigning any reason therefor.
The quotations received will be opened on 15th April 2011 at
3 P.M in the room of the undersigned. The tenderes
may, if they so desire, can send one representative at the time
of opening of quotations.
